Day Two

    1. Reflect on a specific anxious thought or feeling that arose during your meditation practice today. What cartoon characters came up? Write about how you approached them with curiosity and kindness. What did you learn about the anxious thought or feeling as a result?

    2. Write about a moment of anxiety that you experienced outside of your meditation practice and how you could have approached it with curiosity and kindness. What might have been different about your experience if you had approached it in this way?

    3. Consider the benefits of “unblending” from anxious thoughts and feelings with this naming and befriending technique. How does this approach help you to see these experiences in a different light? How do you think it will help you to manage anxiety in the long term? Write about your insights and reflections on this topic.
